Homemade remedies for commonly occurring disease

pharmacy is the art and science of compounding and dispensing medicines. A pharmacist takes out active pharmaceutical ingredients and transform them into medicine for human welfare. but ,there are some home-made remedies which are used to treat certain commonly occurring disease, all these remedies contains active pharmaceutical ingredients but we all are unaware about them .
this is what a pharmaist do , “he identifies these active pharmaceutical ingredients , formulates them into preparation and then, allow us to use them without wasting our valuable time in preparing them at home ”

some of the home made remedies for common disease are given below

for high blood pressure (B.P)
. take raw garlic in diet. it will also reduce gas formation, breathlessness, dizziness.
. drink carrot and spinach juice two times a day.
. add rice to diet for patients taking salt free diet.
. eat plenty of fruits eg- apple, banana, sweet potato.


for runny nose

. warp some turmeric in clean cloth, tie in wooden stick. now light it with fire. inhale the fumes for better relief.
. Mustard oil is another simple but effective home remedy for a runny nose .Heat a little of the mustard oil until it’s barely warm. Use a dropper to put just a drop in one nostril.

for common cold
. mix lemon juice in warm water, then add a teaspoon honey. take it twice a day.
. take garlic soup by boiling chopped garlic in water. it will also help in reducing fever.
. take small amount of alcohol (rum, whisky) before going to sleep.

for diabetes
. drink bitter gourd (Karela in Hindi) juice every morning on empty stomach.
. add garlic and lady finger to diet.

for mild fever
. boil ginger in water until it lowers down to half. strain it and drink it.
. drink a lot of water to lower temperature.


for backache

. make juice of lemon and mix it with salt and drink it twice a day.
. eat plenty of fruits except banana.
. fry 10 cloves of garlic in oil and then, rub it on back.
. avoid tea or coffee.
